Okay, how's this for obsessive: New stock height WH springs, disassembled the packs and coated with graphite infused epoxy. 15% by volume. Reassembled, mounted. Have no idea on how it works yet as the chassis is complete but the tub is off. Be a while I guess.

That's only a little of it! You know the saying the enemy of good is "just a little better" I find it makes this project hard to finish. Of course if I didn't keep reading about the cool stuff everyone here is doing I'd just get on with it and get it done!

Springs that I "air-gapped" as an experiment, those leaves already had tip sliders and the second is military-wrapped:

They're not in yet either, need to finish up the front first.

Not knocking what you are doing at all.

Actually I'm thinking I'll end up copying what you did there. ;D

Because what you're saying fits how I'm building my Bronco very well.

I installed the Wild Horses 2.5" lift and a 1" body lift. The truck rides really nice. Not too bouncy, but sort of floats along. l love driving it. It is totally a street rig. Night and day difference in ride when I get out of my all leaf spring FJ40 and into the Bronco.

Here's my toys...

I just installed new Old Man EMU leaf springs, shocks and shackles all way round the FJ40 last weekend. Made some difference in the ride, but no where close to how nice the Bronco rides.

2 good lookin rigs there, JAFO! Love the old FJ's. Going to look at one next week in Colorado.

I had Old Man Emu on one of my CJ's. I later swapped it out for BDS and liked it better...and used M.O.R.E shackles with greasable bolts.

I'm still trying to decide on leafs, but think I'm gonna go with BC's 9 leaf.
