Congrats Tom! Now you have to get one of your own so you won't be lonely! How are the withdrawals? Got the shakes yet? :p

Tom,

Incredible looking rig buddy. It turned out really really nice! Kudos to you.

Now, go get some center caps for the wheels and finish it off.

That bumper is exactly what I was thinking of doing as I like the stock look. Looks great

Thank you all for the compliments. The Bronco left Santa Clarita Ca when I finished it 2 years ago. I know it has not seen a bunch of miles so it should look as new as the day I finished it. I have relocated to Concord NC and thinking of building a nice shop to start doing some side jobs and or restorations. This is if after testing the market to see if there is enough interest.

We will see.

Tom,
Beautiful build and incredible detail. just found this thread after looking for a tire carrier solution and trying to keep the stock look. Love your solution and love the way you painted the bars above the chrome bumper.

also the interior lighting is amazing. did you wire the under dash lights to come on when your lights are on? My wife drives our alot and she has been begging me for this for awhile.

Would you be kind enough to post some drawing/dimensions of your tire carrier?

Chris,

Thank you for the compliments it was a fun build. Definitely pleased with the tire rack and the complete project.
As far as the lighting it is all LED and I wired it like the factory did.
I have relocated to North Carolina and when I get my garage/shop built
I am thinking about doing some more side projects.

Unfortunately it was a one off custom prototype I did not do drawings. The Bronco is in California and I have relocated to North Carolina so I don't have access to it. Once I get my new garage/shop built I am thinking about doing some more projects and tire racks are on the list. Let me know if you or anyone else is interested.

Thank you.

That tire carrier is beautiful. When I first saw it, took a minute to figure it out, looks like the tire is just floating. The swing being body color was what I did not notice, just fantastic work!

If you dont mind who built that tire carrier for you?

Thanks

I did. I build something similar for Jeeps and I wanted to do the same thing for the Bronco but semi stock. I am working on building a new garage/shop and hope to start doing some more work soon.

Thank you.

A quick update the Bronco is alive and well. Tony tells me it still gets looks everywhere it goes. Also I wanted to let everyone know the pictures are back into the build, thanks photobucket. That was a pain.

Thanks Tom. Talk about taking customers hostage!
What did you end up doing to get them back? Some workaround, or the "workaround" called paying the fee?

I did what any grown man would do. Ask his kid to help. My son downloaded the pictures into Dropbox then I was able to upload them to the forum. Not real sure how he did it but it all worked out.

Hope everything is good with you.

Tom.
