Congrats on the successful trail ride. The pics of the Bronco articulated where you can see the rear axle ground clearance seem like an optical illusion!

Sorry to change topic from the axle, but I need to know what your wheels are from or who makes them? I really like the way they look.

Thanks!

The wheels are from Wheel Vintiques. I can't remember the model offhand, but they are 17 x 7" and the tires are 255/75 17. The one thing I didn't like about the wheels is that they are a dual lug pattern , so I found some white plastic plugs to go in the unused holes. Also, I cut the centers loose and changed the back spacing to 5". With full width axles and little tires I wanted them tucked in as far as possible.

We were at the MEB roundup for a few days and we're able to get out wheeling on Friday. Ended up having an awesome day. The weather was great and there were no major breakdown in our group.

My 16 year old daughter was driving her Bronco ll, and this was only her 2nd time out, so we did green trails all morning. She did great, And had a great time, so that was the icing on the cake for me.

After lunch we got into a rock garden and I pushed the Bronco pretty hard. As you can imagine, 32s and an open front diff make for a lot of bumping action to get over stuff. This garden goes up the side of the mountain for about 3-400 yards. There are basically 3 different lines you can take. They all start out blue, but gradually get harder the farther to the right you go. I stayed to the middle and it was a really nice challenge, but not much risk of body damage. I made it out with just the front bumper being a little more tweaked, so that was a win. Here's a couple pics and then I'll try to post some videos.

That’s OK. Take your time. That last picture of the Bronco II is enough to keep us grinning for quite a while.

John, seeing this in person at AOAA was super cool. This write up and the pictures just don’t do this thread or the build justice. Truly a work of art and some serious engineering/ brain trust. Nice job sir.

Thanks man! It was a great day at AOAA. Getting to catch up with everyone at the roundup is the best though.
