So, have been keeping my eye on the new Bronco since they came out. Been seeing some good reviews and some bad. I think I may have the wife talked into trading her Honda CRV in for a new Bronco but I wanted to come here and ask your opinion on them.
Looking to lease a 4 door Badlands or similar trim package with a rag top. Not looking to wheel it or anything just would like a good looking stance.

Have they gotten the bugs out of these things yet?? How is road noise with the rag top?

We have over 60k on our '21 2 door and love it. We are empty nesters and don't need a More-Door Bronco. Go pick one out and bring it home!
So a question about the 2door. Of course I love the look of them, but how does it handle on highway?? I know it cant be as rough as my EB. Also have you pulled a boat or small trailer behind it??

I've pulled a utility trailer with 3 heavy motorcycles on it without any problems. And it handles great on the hiway. Also something to note, the 2 door has longer doors on it. That moves the B pillar back and out of your line of sight when looking to your left while driving. We have an ARB Zero 48 frig in the back and use it all the time bringing home groceries, thank you Ford points! I would not like a soft top as there is enough wind noise with the insulated hard top at interstate speeds.

Best decision I ever made getting my 2 door wildtrak. I love it, but I agree I would not get a soft top either, although I don't agree it has that much road noise. The 2 door drives like a dream on the highway. If you have a family, it's not a good family vehicle in the 2 door, but the 4 door would work.

Well we are empty nesters to......So F them kids..LOL, The only thing is My EB half cab isn't very practical either
I might start looking at the 2 doors, it probably has as much room as her Honda.
How about reliability??

Haven't had a single issue with mine. There are a few recall items, I just haven't taken it in yet.

Why would you want to lease, as opposed to buy? Unless you have the ability to write the lease off as a business expense, it makes no sense to lease to me. You ever wonder why the first thing the dealer tries to do is lease you a car, not sell you a car? Good for them, bad for you.

There are a few things that I like about leasing other than the business expense. For one its hard to find a vehicle that will retain value and not give you any problems down the road. Personally if it doesn't have an ashtray in it, I don't trust them.

I've always enjoyed my '22 Outer Banks. Have about 25K miles on it, no problems just the previously mentioned recalls. Mine happens to be a 4 door with soft top and I don't mind the noise at all. As far as looks I do prefer the 2 door look. Mileage for me at best is 18mpg with Sasquatch Package.

No issues so far with my wife's 2022. 20.5 mpg with the V-6 and 4.27 gears.
100-inch wheelbase compared to our Early Broncos at 92" it feels pretty good.

JUST ticked 40k on my 22 Base sasquatch with 7 spd. 2 door. No complaints. The Fox shocks and 35's with the 4.70 gears go great and have averaged 21.5 over the 4 years I have had it

My wife had a 22' 2D Badlands with sasq as a daily driver for 3y. 2.7l and it got 18mpg on the highway. The wind and road noise on the highway made us sell it. If we lived in town and rarely highway drove it, we'd still own it. It was the loudest cabin we've ever ridden in. My neighbor down the road wants one bad, and is a 4Runner and Fj guy. He's driven every 2D and 4D combo soft top and hard top there is, but can't make himself buy one because it's so loud inside. Go drive before you buy and drive it where you're going to be doing most of your driving. If Ford would quiet the cab, we'd buy another im a second.

Did you have a hard or soft top? I’m perplexed by your experience as my 2023 has a hard top, and I don’t find it to be noisy at all for what it is. It’s not as quiet as my Lexus, but it’s considerably quieter than was my EB or my 96 full-size.

I'm on my third 2 dr.... with the seat folded down, almost as much, not quite the same, Honda is a bit more open. I have a CRV as well. I have had zero reliability issue with any of my three other than the recalls, which Ford fixed. I do not believe 2dr's have a soft top option from Ford, therefore you will need to go aftermarket. A friend with a 2dr has a Sunrider folding top from Besttop, it fits just over the front two seats. He loves it. If I didn't have a Stroppe, I woukd consider it.

Funny that you mention a '96 FSB @Rob1962 as we also have one. Our Eddie Bauer is so quite that some riders have called it 'coffin' like. The '21 is not even close to being as quite inside at hiway speed. Maybe the '22 and newer model years got better sound insulation in the hard tops than the early '21 builds did?

I've owned my '22 2 door V6 Badlands for several years, drive it every day, 90,000 miles + so far, no reliability issues yet. The fuel economy isn't great, but hey, it's a barn door going 80 mph. It's not Lexus quiet inside, but it's ok. Siri doesn't understand me sometimes but oh well. The back seats don't fold flat to the floor, that would be nice, and a larger gas tank, so I don't have to stop for gas every time I drive it. But, it'll go anywhere, easily.
