'76 and '77 owners, can you fit a 31 x 10.5 on uncut rear quarter?

The "max" allowable backspace (with stock 1977 Ford Knuckles) is 3 3/8" Measured from where the rim mounts to the axle to the plane of the rim lip. SOOOO if there is minimum inner offset, the tires will stick out and rub the rear un-cut quarters?. I tried to put a stock '80's Ford 15 x 7.5"...

'76 and '77 owners, can you fit a 31 x 10.5 on uncut rear quarter?

If yes what is the rim "offset? (distance from back mounting surface of the rim to the outer (inner) lip). I tried the standard 15 x 7.5" rim from the 80's But they are fine on the rear axle, but won't fit on the front axle with the stock configuration of the '76 & '77 disk brake-tie rod...

    Holley Sniper EMI/RFI

Anything that pours fuel into a common intake to feed cylinders, no matter how controlled, is a carbureted system .... Pro flow is actually port injected with 8 individual injectors and a remote "brain box" not susceptible to the heat and EMF......

    Holley Sniper EMI/RFI

Go Edelbrock Pro-Flow 4, Running 2 seasons now, Not 1 Issue, Stored all winter. Rolled the window down, stood outside, reached in, turned the key, Fired right up! All you got there is an electronically controlled Carburetor, not fuel injection..... Didn't work in the 80"s still issues today....
