... wHO Is it that just put in a 300CID.
My question is was it a EFI 300. I HAVE A 95 300EFI. That I have plans to put into one of my Bronco . I swapped for the motor about a month ago . & I got the Manual trans computer & the wiring harness. I Got the motor . & Really I got the 2wdrive 5 speed also .
........
But I'm looking for How to convert the wiring harness. Or where can I buy the harness already converted.

EFIGUY is probably the best bet, but I'd also bet he doesn't do many in that Cylinder quantity. With enough studying, you may find there's no need to work the harness. Just mount the PCM in the middle of the firewall, up top like everyone else does, and put the appropriate hot wires to it. I wouldn't recommend the 2wd 5 speed for conversion to 4wd when there are so many better (i.e. stronger, lower geared) options out there.

I wired one some years ago. Very similar to the old fox mustang injection.

NO I want use that 5speed . That Bronco already has a NP435 in it.
I was just saying I do have the 5speed . Fishing some what if any one wants one I sure sell it.
..................
..............That what I was thinking that as I've heard just hook up a HOT WIRE to the PCM & plug in the motor wires & cut off & block off the extra wires .
But I sure like tohave some instructios for that.

I'm working one. I sent the front harness and computer to Kolibar. He made the changes and sent it back. Have not installed yet as I'm working some other issues. I got the info from rjlougee here. Should be able to search for his thread. PM me if you can't find it. I have his thread and Kolbar's address at home.

As long as all the wires that need to be hooked up are hooked up correctly, you can remove the ones not being used.

The trick is knowing which ones need to be hooked up correctly. The '95 should be a simple EEC-IV. So pretty much the same as a mustang. I think those also had a post shut down injector cooling fan. I remember that being an oddity of the EFI 300 for at least one year. There is a little bit outside of the engine that you need to keep, mostly dealing with the fuel pump.

I have efi 300 in mine. You have the complete firewall-forward harness from the donor? As it was loomed in my f150 harness it had the blinkers and stuff wrapped in with the efi harness so I went through and picked all them out. Then its constant power to computer, and ignition power. I used the fuse block from the f150 too. Has the fuel pump and o2 sensor relays/fuses in it.

My buddy Jack did this to his 300 a couple years back...like you guys mentioned, he took the existing EFI harness, saved what it needed to convert and cut out the rest. Installed it on his Bronco...works PERFECT!

He's in the Gulf of Alaska right now or he could walk ya thru it... :)
