I am in the process of restoring my 1976 D20 and I have removed the plugs, springs and the balls and taken out the shift fork screw but the rods wont come out. They are lose to turn and I can move them a bit. But they don´t come out. Any Ideas? Also is there a vendor who sells the shift rods?

I am aiming to build a 9" housing for a 76 Bronco. I need to know the length of the Tubes. How many Inches of tubing would I need for rear? AND How many Inches for front? I am thinking 24 Inches x 2 for rear and 24 x 1 and 12 x 1 for the front?
