ok i bought a sterling 10.25 and it is about 3 inches more narrow than my dana 60 front end. (1.5" each side") my dad has a sterling 10.5 out of a 2003 f350 powerstroke and it has the metric lug pattern. has anyone converted that axle to 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern?? i would like to run it because it...

i ended up going a buying a sterling 10.25 for $75 the D60 already came with gears and locker but the wrong gears that i want so just gunna sell it because why tear apart a perfectly good axle that someone else can use

i do have full width axles lol ok because i was just planning on running them in the rear because my rear axle is 6 inches shorter than my front so i wanted to get them the same width and i didn't want to have to switch the rims out every time i rotated the tires it would be a pain in the butt...

ya thats what i was originally asking fo them. i have a question for u. i bout a 79 dana 60 front axle it measures out to 69 inches wide the rear axle that came with it is not the original one it is 63 inches wide. what is the rear axle out of and why is it so much shorter? and what do u think...

origianl66 if ur talking about the front end it is a true trac i think dont know for sure. its not welded or does not have a detroit in it. but it is locked both tires spin together

i have a dana 60 rear axle and it is 6 inches shorter than my dana 60 front should i run 2.5 inch or 3 inch wheel spacers? i dont know how strong they are. let me know what u think

it is a detroit you let off the gas it unlocks u hit the gas its locked. my dad has had the locker for about 5 years he went to dana 60's so he gave me the locker and now im going to dana 60's just because i got a good deal and Original66 i have to see if i can find pics of them on the computer...

my buddy has a air locker for a low pinion dana 60 will that locker work in my high pinion? i just gotta switch out the gears im just wondering if the locker will work in it.?:?

ya i we were lucky both of our axles were already pulled out of the rig so all we had to do was load them up which that is easier said than done lol
