yeah i understand all that jazz with the adapter. Thats fine. I just dont think that I want to go the Electronic controlled transmission. i took mine to an auto glass shop and they used that rubber tape type stuff. It had adhesive on it. Cost me $15. Worth it, cuz i didn't have to deal with the hassle of getting it seated in there properly or breaking it.

    Wiring new stereo

There should be a couple open accessory terminals on your fuse block, also, you can find where the hot wire is on the back of it by popping out your fuses and using a test light, or just run a wire through your fire wall. I had an already existing hole in the fire wall, and i used to to run the...

I found a 97 mountaineer online near me for 800. It runs and is a 5.0. It was sideswiped near the rear. My question is would this fit under the hood of my 71? I don't have a lift and almost all the efi conversions I've seen have said that they have a body lift. Also, it should have a 4r70w for a...

    DIY Power Windows

Well thank you Chuck. When I was wiring, I actually took off the fender and door to see if there was perhaps another way to do it, but because of the close spaces, your location for drilling is by far the most logical (as you probably already know). So I figured why reinvent the wheel... Also...

    DIY Power Windows

Sorry Chuck, if you want me to remove the link to your site, I will. Quite frankly, the instructions that you have are the best places to drill, plus running the "fishing" wire is the normal way of running wires in tight places, so I didn't think of the need to rewrite that stuff. Plus I used...
