Only 3 Wheel Drive!!!! Help please?

Sounds like exactly what would happen if you have a open diff and the DS is dragging. Try holding the PS tire with your foot (or better yet a friend) and turn the drive shaft. If it turns then, your OK, but I would check for dragging brakes or something. Good Luck, Brian

    Tracking Bar install - help

If you're having trouble aligning, simply turn the steering wheel, without the track bar attached the front end will move back and forth over the axle. Like curts77 said, make sure you're centered. I'm off just a bit and I can turn sharper in one direction than the other. Brian

    Remote control mirror

I got them from Mustangs Plus, about $150 a pair. My bronco has factory remote and it looks very similar to this.

    Remote control mirror

These are the ones I was thinking of using, had them on my 67 fastback. I like the matching passenger side mirror. Not origonal, but I think they look better.

    Remote control mirror

Does anyone know where to get a new remote coltrol mirror? It looks like mustang mirrors might work, anyone try this? They use mustang door handles after all. TIA Brian

    Which differential for D44 front?

I've been really interested in the new Detroit electric locker. I've heard it works like a true trac when unlocked. Sounds like the best of both worlds. Anyone have any experience with them?

    Opinions about an H-pipe

I remember my 68 Torino GT with a 390 had a factory H pipe. I've always heard that a crossover will improve low end torque. If I remember correctly, the crossover should be about 2/3 the size of the main exhaust pipes. I'm sure with a little looking, you can find some info on the net. Good...

    Anyone De-lifted???

Depending on your tires, I wouldn't think 3.5" would cause any major problems. I'm running 2.5" with 31" tires and its very streetable. I sure miss running trails in N Az. I go back far enough I've driven weatherford road many times. Happy Trails, Brian

    in gear cuts off#@$%*@

Not familiar with the Q jet, but that's right on most carbs I've seen. I usually turn them in till they just seat then back them out 1 1/2 turns. Then adjust like rusty_truck said. Good Luck Brian

    FINALLY on the road again

It's got a 2.5" K bar S lift, 31" BFG MT's and dual shocks at all four corners. I just noticed I typed "if roadworthy" instead of "is roadworthy". Hope that's not a freudian slip. ;D ;D Happy Trails, Brian

Where's the best place to get collector insurance?

Every collector insurance place I called wouldn't insure it because I use it off road. State Farm would at a pretty good rate, but I need an apprasial on it first. Good Luck, Brian

    Turning brakes

Depending on your differential, there might be some front to rear binding from this. I've heard of it being used on 4X4's with a twin stick and just the fronts engaged.

Also, if you're going to do this, why not just use cutting brakes like sand rails. Might cost a bit more, but probably...

    Twin Stick Shift Pattern

In order to get the full benefit of a twin stick, I believe you have to remove the sliding pins between the shift rails. They engage notches in the shift rails and coltrol the shifting with a single stick.

Brian
