Rusted front fenders are they salvageable?

@Geiri, if you’re wanting to save $$ and have the time, hand sanding is certainly a possibility. Yeah, it’s a pain in the butt; however, if it’s 1) just surface rust and 2) not rotten it won’t be all that bad to do. Heck, not having to pay for new sheet metal (and the shipping cost) would make...

Protecting yourself from out of state bronco purchase?

I’m reminded of an old saying: “Don’t buy a pig in a poke.” I’ll be happy to explain to those who are not familiar with farming. Randy

Detail pictures of the top corner brace of Steel Top

I’m of the opinion that if you know your angle (if it’s not 90*) all you’re doing with the piece is keeping the corner from racking. As long as the ‘legs’ of the triangle are at least 5”, it shouldn’t matter how large a piece you make. At least that’s my theory. Randy

Out of paint and time to ASSEMBLE!

Is it possible that the new weatherstripping is putting excessive pressure on the glass that the old weatherstripping was worn enough that the window went up and down easier? Just a thought. Randy

Looking at a bronco question on floor pans

Mine’s a ‘77 and both top and bottom of the floor pans are the color of vehicle…or at least they were before I cut them out. I am with @bigmuddy on the rust encapsulater painted tops. Randy

The Tricky EcoBoost Early Bronco Build

Wish I had seen this before now. Never thought about using a router. I’ve done two Dodge rims using an angle grinder and a die grinder. Ain’t pretty, but it clears the hub. Thinking I’ll get a metal cutting bit and work on the other two. Randy

    bench seat

I guess I’m blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other one. Sorry about jumping to conclusions. Really need to pay more attention. Randy

    bench seat

I’m thinking the ‘wire’ is actually spring steel so it has the ability to return to shape after a butt has moved them down. Randy

    Who made red coil springs?

I have red front coils also with 1/2” lift. My shocks front and rear are Rancho, so I’m leaning towards it being Rancho coil springs. Randy ****3 1/2” instead of 1/2”****

    Inherited 1971 Bronco. What now?

Other than checking the brakes and doing an oil change, check the radiator fluid, I’d just drive it until you decide you WANT to do some upgrade(s). Very nice inheritance!! Randy

What have you done to your Bronco today?

I just threw some more money at mine. Lol. Ordered a prop. valve and centering tool and a boot for where the clutch rod goes through the firewall and the accelerator rod goes through the firewall. I guess I was too heartless to actually do anything to it. Randy

    TN ISO decent builder tailgate

Welcome to the best forum on the internet. I’m sure there’s a tailgate out here somewhere. Mine’s pretty “toasty” but I’m too cheap to find a better on. Lol 😂 Randy

Getting Ready for the Lonestar Bronco Mountain Ride! PICS ADDED!

I’m sorry, but I’d NOT take a paint job that pretty and go ‘into the rocks’!!! Wouldn’t enjoy the day at well. Randy

    Manual disc brakes

Are you sure it’s your friends? I’d be thinking your enemies might complain about the noise…but NOT your friends. Lol. 😂 On another note, how are you doing driving on the wrong side of the road over there?? Randy

76 Bronco backfired and died while driving, now there is no power

Something like ^^^ as @Madgyver eaid leads me to think any of these could be the issue, plus the cam chain maybe jumped a tooth or two causing it to jump time. I would lean towards something along these lines as to why no firing. Randy
