    Ignition Starter Switch Cylinder

There will be 2 pins and 1 spring for each hole, from there it's kind of trial and error unless you're knowledgeable about key locks. You could always take it to a locksmith, they may not charge much if you have all the parts or even if there's only a couple missing.

bouncy ride & harsh on small bumps...

In my mind, with all it's missing cells, a variable would be either varying coil diameter or thickness. Progressive would be coils progressively closer together but with a constant diameter and thickness. Same theory would apply to leaf springs, just in a straight line.;D

Venting a Charcoal Carbon Vapor Canister...

The fill vent is meant to prevent the fuel from getting pushed back up the filler neck because of the air being displaced by the fuel being pumped in. Now there is no reason I can think of that you couldn't tee into it for the canister.

Potential issues if the converter button/snout doesn't seat in the crank

How about making a steel adapter that has the button hole bored deeper then weld it to the flex plate? Since boring the hole deeper will make the transition too thin to hold under pressure, welding it to the flex plate should solve that.

    Water leaking into the cab

As far as I've been able to solve the problem is to just slow down the leaks. I put some gooey sealant on mine, top and bottom, but it still comes in at the corners. The doors are the worst, through the wing vent, window felt, window frame at the top. Just think of it more as an umbrella than a...
