Wedge style caliper to slide pin caliper conversion?

Curious if anyone has done this before. Working on my full width swap. My full width has the wedge to lock the caliper on it. My current 44 uses the 2 slide pins. I would rather use the 2 slide pins. Should I be able to swap the caliper bracket only over and get it to work? Or do I need to swap...

    1970 Bronco Wheeler

Planning a trip to gulches in november and have a laundry list of upgrade before then. Picked up a set of full widths last year and planning to swap them in. Just ordered some long arms and full width spring perches, along with some shorty headers to clear. Also picked up a spool for the rear...

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

We just got ours back from warranty for a plug clip issue, nothing major. Hoping to get back to installing it all this week. Been distracted with building my wife a deck the past month.

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

On ours we mounted it inside on the passenger side kick panel just in front of the air intake for the heater box. Fits well and can see if it has power from the driver seat for troubleshooting. It goes through grommets into the engine bay for all the necessary connections though. Looks like...

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

There are alot more options in the software than Holley, i'm certain there's a decay setting somewhere you could fiddle with to help that. There is also a remote tuner out of VA that is recommended alot on the forums/pages. I can't remember his name right now though.

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

We ended up going with an ACES royal flush kit. Still in the process of installing it. Quality of packaging and the unit have been top notch, wiring feels like a step down from Holley's stuff but not bad or cheap by any means. The ecu is separate and feels nice. Had to send it in under warranty...

    Odd header question

So I have an odd question I wanted to ask and see what everyone's opinions were. I am finally getting back into looking at my full width 44/9 swap and I know that my current long tubes are going to be in the way on the driver side. Trying to do this on a budget for the time being (staying short...

WH Hydroboost Fitment Question (Explorer EFI)

Looking it over the only note about not fitting was for efi with the throttle body on the drivers side. Which side is the explorer efi on?

James Duff full width coil buckets

Out of curiosity, can anybody who is running james duff full width coil buckets measure from the frame mount to the center bolt in the spring bucket? Debating between these or ballistic fabrication adjustable coil buckets. Have heard good things about both, but the ballistic fab buckets would...

    Rat Bronco Crawler

Were you ever able to get some photos of the installation of your rock sliders? Close to selling both of my rigs and between yours and "coco"/ Dusty's rig, I'll be starting on my long travel 37/38 LCG build with the freed up funds. Have you gotten a chance to wheel your rig any? Anything you'd...

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

They also offer a true MPFI system, if this kit works out well on my mom's bronco, I may look into the multiport as an option for my bronco.

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

Fair enough, I know the company has been around for over 3 years. In the groups for them I’m seeing a lot of the same complaints as Holley units see. I think we are going to take the chance on them for the extra warranty and extra features. Hoping it doesn’t come back to bite us.

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

So far I’ve found all the replacement sensors as off the shelf gm parts, ls injectors, parts from an express or Cruze, etc. I guess the biggest unknowns are how well it “self learns” and the longevity of the pcm. They have a 1 year warranty vs the others guys 90 days though which is nice...

ACES Royal Flush/Killshot EFI vs Sniper 1/2 EFI

Working on rewiring and setting up @NC-Fordguy 's 73 bronco for his widow, which looks like converting to EFI and consolidating his wiring into something we understand vs multiple fuse boxes for all of his added circuits. His CD box has failed, carburetor needs some tweaking among other things...

Also, did you have to cut or hammer any on the rear inner fenders? Any photos of that? Thanks in advance!

    Rat Bronco Crawler

Awesome! Thank you! My plan is similar, star with the body, then when I redo the cage tie them in there to tie them to the frame. Via bolts or bushings.

    1970 Bronco Wheeler

Went wheeling again this weekend in Uwharrie National Forest. Not much had changed except the sniper honestly. Truck ran great, had a few weird spots where the sniper would surge when the truck was close to stalling but other than that everything worked well. Smacked the rear quarter rocker on a...
