    Broken Oil Sender Extension

I run the ps-17 sender that eliminates the extension. That's on a couple 351w. It threads directly into the block with a metric socket

    Worn Knuckle?

Simple as ream it and drop em in, then install tie-rod. The one thing to watch is don't ream too deep. When reaming go for the top of the bushing to land flush. With that said it's better for the top edge of the bushing(tie-rod side) to be a little above the knuckle than inside the top edge of...

    Best manifold for the Q-Jet

I couldn't get it to come up on summit. I googled offenhauser 360 351w and a few came up on ebay in the $200-300 dollar range.

    Best manifold for the Q-Jet

Spellcheck bit me on the Ford manifold response. It will fit the set up under a stock hood with n o b/l. I think Chuck did it with the stock air cleaner. As far as sources I pulled the 4bbl from a 70s econoline. The 351w offy is a model 360. Summit has or had e. But they have gotten pricey...

    Y to T conversion Issues

Looks like alot of threads showing on the lower tie-rod. Are you that kit isn't for the earlier years? The attatch points on the knuckles are wider on the 76-77.

    Best manifold for the Q-Jet

The edelbrock requires an adapter and will probably require cutting the hood. There is a stock low profile ford manifold that also requires the adapter but can't fit the q-jet under a stock hood without a body lift. Then there's the offy. It has the correct bolt pattern but you need to...

    Worn Knuckle?

Good upgrade but if you go there you may as well look into going tie-rod over. Then you gain clearance and a better drag link angle. Dessert thrasher had a good write up on the 1-ton swap

Wedge style caliper to slide pin caliper conversion?

Or if you want to stay ford with bigger pistons go with the t-bird calipers. I think the also require a different brake line to the caliper.

Just ream the holes and buy the conversion sleeves. Bc carries em. Wh might.

Which fire extinguisher and how are you mounting it

I had the cheap ones from depot or oriellys. Sure enough when the 72 caught fire it didn't work. Luckily a guy walking out of the store had a gallon of water which put it out. Needless to say the next day I was at 4wp buying a few of the nice $100 ones. As for mounting wh had some nice quick...
