Anyone Interested in buying the Stak T case ???

I was considering the STAK, and I had been waiting for the "B-Box". I was told that it was going to be ready in Oct. '05, then Dec. '05, then Jan. '06, then Feb. '06, etc. So, with the extra time I really tried to evaluate all of the gearing choices to decide if spending the ~$3K was going to...

    Track bar bolt replacement

Don't do this wrong! If you replace this bolt, whether you use the stock arrangement or reversed, make sure that the load is riding on the shank of the bolt and not on the threads... I know it seems obvious, but a small oversight can ruin your afternoon. :-[ Ask me how I know. --Craig

    Preferred Hydroboosters?

Lincoln Hydroboost James, I have the Lincoln unit & it works fine, but if I had it to do over again, I'd probably look for one of the other models. The Lincoln unit I have uses an odd o-ring boss with SAE threads for the HP Lines. That's OK, if you get the lines with the unit, but finding a...

CA formerly titled EB and the dreaded DMV

I bought mine from a guy who lived in CA then moved to Oregon. When he moved to Oregon he only used his bronco on his ranch so he never registered it. When I went to register back in CA, I had to pay all the past due registration fees (even though his address was in Oregon). They...

    hydroboost brackets

I have the lincoln hydroboost, regular brake pedal, & explorer SEFI intakes with my own custom bracket that can be seen here. It just uses the existing mounting holes & is slotted to move the hole unit over just enough to clear the intakes without going so far as to hit the steering column with...

    gas tank pump for EFI

I had problems with my two pump/accumulator set-up on the Rubicon this past summer, so I am trying the in-tank pump identical to Gil's (gddyap). I modified the top plate to add another line that goes to the bottom of the tank. This line is normally capped off. IF, the in-tank pump ever dies...

    explorer AC eliminator

If you want to run without the AC I think what the other guys are saying is that they just didn't bolt up the AC pump & the belt routes from the water pump to the PS pump & does not need an AC eliminator pulley. So just bolt the bracket up with the PS pump and idler & leave the AC off...maybe...

Adding a return to a plastic resevoir

I modified an explorer PS res for hydroboost. Here is a pic from another thread...pic Here's the thread... Anyway, the explorer reservoir is nylon. So, I got some nylon pipe thread to barb fittings from McMaster (#2974K133) & tapped the reservoir for pipe threads. I then installed/secured...

Explorer PS Pump, How Does it do?

I wish I had known about the -6 to Explorer pump adapter...I took one of the Metric PS to AN fittings & machined a groove for a teflon washer (essentially made it like the OEM fitting). Then used AN lines/fittings. It works, but I'd rather have purchased one. The thread was metric, but I can't...

Explorer PS Pump, How Does it do?

SaddleUp, No worries on getting separated...it all worked out! Yeah those obstacles seem like they'd be a lot different with a little water... ToddZ, I sent lars a pic of the accord reservoir some time ago, I can't sem to find it, maybe he can dig it up...if not I'll take another one. --Craig

Explorer PS Pump, How Does it do?

SaddleUp, I'm running the explorer front dress witht the hydroboost as well. It's too bad you didn't say something, you might remember me, I was driving the red bronco that got separated on the trail run Friday at SOB. Anyway, the pump is working fine. It made some noise after a long day in...
