Adding a return to a plastic resevoir

I am thinking of some way to add a return to my PS pump, but it has a plastic resevoir. My hydroboost seems to work fine but I thought I would try it. I dont want to destroy my resevoir but if I need I think I can get a new one from the u-pull yard. Any ideas or someone who has done this?
TIA

I assume you mean me???
Yes I have done it. real easy.
Got a fitting from the sprinkler place that was a bolt on type nipple.
You know the type instead of threading the body you drill a hole and put on a rubber washer and a bolt. works fine no leaks.
Also if the plastic is thick enough you can thread is for a fitting. Remember this is very low pressure return so you dont have to worry about much strength.
another one I have seen is the fitting/drill hole/epoxy fitting in. works too.
lots of options pick one and try it.

I modified an explorer PS res for hydroboost.

Here is a pic from another thread...pic

Here's the thread...

Anyway, the explorer reservoir is nylon. So, I got some nylon pipe thread to barb fittings from McMaster (#2974K133) & tapped the reservoir for pipe threads. I then installed/secured them with some Devcon adhesive (from McMaster, #66215A27) that is specifically made for nylon.

They've been on for about a year now & have not leaked through various wheeling trips (Moab, Rubicon, SOB, etc.)

I envisioned this "fix" to only be temporary until I purchased a fancy aluminum reservoir, but so far so good.
