Thanks guys, i will keep you posted. Might be a month or two before I get underway. Getting ready to move to Savannah but I wanted to start figuring out what I'm going to need to do.

So I have a c4 that will need a rebuild soon. I have metal in the fluid and it's acting pretty funny diving it around. I'm thinking I'm going to try to do it myself. So the research begins. Any advice and/or any good links would be appreciated. Thanks

Yeah, I changed the oil but couldn't get out every drop so went with the higher viscosity hoping the it would break down a bit with the leftover oil in it. It had a good quart of gas or so in the oil. I just put a new oil pressure sensor in it so I really hope thats not the problem. Had a...

So I looked at the plate on my c4 I believe (has eleven bolts so I think its a c4) and the plate read PEA AL D3BAA That doesn't show up in my chiltons manuel and I can't find the info on line for transmission data plates. Anybody able to educate me. Thanks Ryan

So I was worried about my rear axle having some in and out play(maybe an eighth of an inch). It doesn't make any sounds and the play is limited to in and out, no play up and down. What would cause it to do that? I was thinking of just pulling it and replaceing the bearing and seals but...

Thanks guys, I guess most people are ripping this stuff out not trying to put it back in. I'm probably going to do the rubber hose thing, like you said if it can take fuel a little vapor shouldn't be a problem.
