    1973 Bronco Extremely Nice -SOLD-

Hey Nick, Thanks, glad you like the truck. Haven't seen the 32k truck, seems a little high for an EB, that's more than I paid for my 69 Camaro and it's #2 real close to a #1 car. One of the hardest things to do is to sell something you have 2000 hours of hard work in, doesn't take long to get...

    1973 Bronco Extremely Nice -SOLD-

Thanks Flash, I'm kinda hoping it doesn't sell, I'm already missing it and no one's even come by for a test drive. Lots of interest, no serious buyers yet. I know I'll regret selling it but I keep telling myself I'll get another one in a few years, maybe an all original uncut. I still have my...

    1973 Bronco Extremely Nice -SOLD-

Ha! Hey RBI, Sorry I got 3 kids and 2 dogs already, I think tasker's right, the price would go up. Like a friend of mine once said "I wouldn't give up one of my kids for a million dollars but I wouldn't give a penny for another one." Ray

    1973 Bronco Extremely Nice -SOLD-

Thanks. It's funny, after detailing, cleaning, taking all the pictures, writing the copy and adding up what I've put into it, I want to keep it, that or ask 80,000.00 for it. : ) Especially going through all the photos, sometimes you forget how cool something is until you photograph it...

    1973 Bronco Extremely Nice -SOLD-

1973 FORD BRONCO, EXTREMELY NICE. Up for sale is one of my favorite things, my 73 Bronco. I’ve owned it for about 3 years, and have since finished what the previous owner started. With thousands of hours and dollars invested it’ll be tough to find one as nice as this for the asking price...

    New BC Broncos exhaust! Awesome!

No, I took the “bolt on kit” to the "muffler dude" to have all the joints welded instead of using clamps. Thanks for your help but I can answer for myself. What happened to this board? I've been a member here for 4 years, I've learned more about working on vehicles (Broncos) here in 4 years...

    New BC Broncos exhaust! Awesome!

OK,OK Maybe I misquoted the "copied his design" part. Actually I tool the entire kit to the muffler shop and went to have a burger, came back and the guy had bent the pipes and had Chucks back in the box. Then he told me the pipes were inefficient in his opinion so he built his own. As far as...

    New BC Broncos exhaust! Awesome!

I'm sure Chuck is cool with it. The world of EB is all about making things work for you. This muffler with these headers, etc. Everyone's different, some guys spend an entire Saturday fabricating a new turn signal lever and some guys (like me) buy a new one for 8 bucks. Whatever works the best...

    New BC Broncos exhaust! Awesome!

    New BC Broncos exhaust! Awesome!

Sorry, I guess I should've made myself clearer. I basically used the Magnaflow muffler from the kit and kinda borrowed their design. The 2-2 1/2" in to 3" out. Although the exhaust guy didn't like the 2 into 1 design over the true dual. I didn't use their headers I already had Hookers. I also...

Dipstick in front of my 302?

So I get a new pan with the dipstick on the side-to-rear sump. What di I do with the hole/tube in the front/timing cover? Plug, does anyone know if it is screw in? Maybe I can put a bolt or some kind of plug there? Thanks. Ray

Dipstick in front of my 302?

Thanks for the help. One suggestion from a buudy was let all the oil drain for a couple of days and put 5 quarts back in (with a new filter), run the engine a few minutes and mark the dipstick with a drimmel tool. Would the oil level in the pan be the same from back to front? Or am I missing...

    New BC Broncos exhaust! Awesome!

Just got the BC Broncos exhaust setup installed, wow, what a difference. Went from dual Flowmaster 50s to the Magnaflow 2 - 2 1/2" ins 3" out, it sounds incredible. The tone must have dropped 20 db, it sounds frickin' huge. Smartest thing I done to the truck since I've owned it. If your debating...

Dipstick in front of my 302?

Hey all, The dipstick is in front of the engine on my '73 302? The 68 I used to have it was on the side. The dipstick has been trimmed and you can barely see a "safe" indicator line. Doesn't it have a tube that goes through the block? It's measuring the oil level in the front (shallow part) of...

    Ignition problem

Hey Steve, I don't think the engine stumbled but it was a quick in and out on the stereo. It was probably the pos battery cable touching something under the hood while it was loose. I'm gonna try to get it to my shop tonight and see if I can isolate the problem. I'm not a pro with a meter but I...

    Ignition problem

Hey Steve, Nothing, turn the key and it's like the battery is dead. I've got lights and wipers, etc. I'm thinking the pos battery cable shorted out on something? Is there a fuse for the ignition? I didn't see a slot for one in the fuse box. Someone told me there might be another fusible link...

    Ignition problem

Hey All, I was driving back to my office yesterday, the stereo started cutting out. I parked and went in, came out and it wouldn't start. Tried jumping and found that the pos battery cable had came loose from the terminal clamp (more PO sh!t. Hooked it back up and it still won't start, I've...

speedo cable clicking - lube gear?

Thanks for the input, the cable doesn't make any turns, it runs between the tranny crossmember and the body, then is in a clamp beside the emergency brake cable, then up the outside firewall into the hole. About cable lube...I've heard of graphite for the cable, but something elese is goofy. I...
