Was on the Dennis Carpenter website just now and came across what looks like new black (BLK) and parchment (PCH) original sport type Bronco floor mats. No pictures and not available yet, but descriptions suggest they are coming.

But does that not say it's a front only? Finally getting them in parchment will be great. But it still doesn't sound right.
When I see pics and a price is when I'll get excited about it. Been waiting too many decades for a good one!

Glad you were keeping an eye on things. Hope you're right.

Call them and try to get the scoop! When they started advertising their new quarter panel it was about 6 months before they were in stock due to quality issues but they gave me a heads up on when to actually expect them.

I talked with DC last year at Super Celebration and they said they were working on getting a new front and rear mat out.

77 Bronco

I was going to call them tomorrow and ask. I have a 77 Sport and need a new Parchment mat as well.

^ Correct. They had a prototype in one of their tubs on display as well. It looked good!

One advantage of a slow restoration. New products come out.

Next best thing. And it's available now, so you don't have to wait.
Unless you're still a long way from finishing?

The good news is that if you do use the carpet, it's likely a little quieter and "warmer" feeling than the mat.
I love the ACC carpet in mine. But yeah... Might still be tempted to swap it out for a full mat if it ever comes out.
Not because I still think it's better. But because I've wanted one for literally 45 years!
And now is no time to wuss out on the dream.;D

Pictures.

Sure looks nice. For the sport front mat, are the differences just cosmetic - the texture and foot non-slip lines? I think it would fit sport and non-sport alike but maybe I’m missing something.

Looks fantastic. But I sure hope they have a parchment option, and not just a black one.
