What color should my '67 dash be? PO has painted everything a 70's maroon, it was originally coded red. Also, where can I find Wimbledon White in an aerosol?

Thanks!

Duplicolor has Wimbledon white It's available at most part houses. I used it on some steel wheels and thought it was darker than it should have been. It would be a huge improvement over maroon, IMO

Rustoleum has a Wimbledon White that has a good reputation for color and durability.

I bought Wimbledon white from the Sherwin Williams auto paint shop. Single stage with hardener. Seems very durable.

Light Parchment is Ditzler #22780. You can have it mixed at an auto paint supply shop and put into spray cans.

I'm certain that the color is light parchment as Viperwolf1 and House said, but having purchased 2 of my EBs new, I remember the dash and door inserts being a semi gloss. Some of the '77s I remember, had the dashes painted body color that was glossy. My '77 had/has the semi gloss light parchment.

Most of the glossy body color dashes are in a Ranger model Bronco.

The '77s I referenced may have been Ranger package trucks. I know mind isn't. But my point was, that glossy light parchment won't look right.

Agreed. I have a gloss Light Parchment dash in one of my Broncos right now, and I dislike it.

Stirring back up an old topic, but what's the verdict on the gloss vs semi gloss dash? Wanting to touch up my 74's dash and door panels

The dash in my '68 was painted a semi-custom, fairly glossy parchment lookalike and it's pretty nice. Too much gloss in front of me doesn't always make me happy, but this one I like.

Goes good with the other white features in the pale blue (Peacock Blue) rig.

Not long ago I drove my soon-to-be-ex-favorite '72 Explorer model in Orange and that body color dash drove me nuts within two minutes of getting in and heading down the road.
Just way too bright of a color right in front of me all the time.
A body color dash in a more subdued color on the other hand would likely not have been as antagonizing, but not completely sure after that experience.
My old low-gloss Parchment in the '71 was never "cool" enough and I always wanted a different color. But now I'm not so sure it wasn't a better color than I gave it credit for.

Good luck in the choice!
