on my current project, there were probably 20 wire nut splices.... they were the first to go, electrical fires are low on my list of desires in life LOL.
I haven't seen that many wire nuts but I have seen my share of spray foam.

Nice. The P-heads should work great.
What will you use for exhaust?

DirtDonk had originally planned to use vintage mustang hipo manifolds…but stumbled on some Ford mustang gt40 shorty headers at a swap meet. They need some love though… we’ll see.

Back from the dead! Haha

Current state of the “heart”

Painted by brush, came out OK. Not sure how durable it will be. Need to actually install the intake and find a few small parts for that intake (hope it fits)

Uggh. I need to get this thing back on the ROAD! Got the oil filter adapter and correct filter fitted (just testing). I also final mounted the intake and torqued the bolts. Felpro gaskets for the intake-heads, gasket maker on the ends.

Started some more research on Holley sniper and ZF5 install needs and I think have everything to get good and started.

Need to get to the shop and do some cleanup, organization, work on front floor pans, clean and paint as needed before mounting all new suspension and 4.10 axles...clean up engine bay wiring etc etc...

Went to the shop, did some cleaning and organizing/planning. Revisiting what I have purchased and what I need to find/buy.

Deleted: drum master/prop valve, accelerator rod, clutch rod/mechanism on frame, old motor mounts, old PO installed rear bumper w extension, old exhaust hangers.

Sold my extra NP205 to Ballie Built himself, so I got to see the pro-charged, 4 linked shop truck in person! Man that thing is cool.

Made the decision to sell the Holley sniper and snag a great local-ish deal on a Edelbrock Pro Flo 4.

Time for Progress!!

looking great!

Bailie’s shop truck is very cool, i’m looking forward to getting it out on a road and light trail trip, be fun to see it on a trail with my J Truck.

What’s the story on the disassembled Jeep Truck? Currently have a pretty strong affliction for them.

We talked about your truck! That one is mid body swap onto a late model dodge cummins chassis. This is a shared shop.

Small project last evening, remove the funky bumper extension/cover that the PO welded on. The frame horns almost look new! You can still see original paint on my frame in places, even behind the PTO brackets inside the frame.

I fully believe this rig has 78k miles. 1-2 owners before me.

Tried to get as much sand/silt out of the frame as possible.

Lars Bars prep:

Ordered DOM tubing off of Amazon...who'da thunk it.

Now to prep a set of radius arms and coerce someone to put a 9 degree bend in the 2 tubes. May work on rehabbing my stock leaf spring shackles today...

Air chisel made easy work of bushing removal after cutting the welds.
