See attached photos. That is day one. I plan on a 90% original frame off. I do plan on lifting it, but not cutting it. 3.5 inch lift 30x9.50 with power brakes and steering. It has neither currently. My wife will want to drive it so they are a must.

Did you use standard Windows included software? Or something special?

I used Photoshop CC. It takes just a minute, maybe less, to get it in the ballpark. I’d be happy to clean up more if you want to send them my way.

It’s pretty simple to pull dirt, scratches, etc these days too.

I’ve got a 72 that may be something, since I keep seeing orange mentioned. I’ve got Sport and Explorer badging, and evidence that a previous owner has disguised some original colors. I’m waiting on my Marti Report to be processed.

The truck is currently white and black.

Yeah, looks like they undercoated the engine compartment for you. Maybe they liked that clean black look... Or somewhere under there the original paint got some brake fluid and battery acid on it and this was the easy way out.

That'd be fantastic if you could do a couple more of the pics! Appreciate the very kind offer of your time.
I'll PM you my e-mail address so I can send some directly to you.
My buddy Tim will get a big kick out of seeing his old Bronco in all it's glory again.

Thanks again.

That looks like a great window on the past you got there bchesley. A lot of work, to be sure! But a great project.

TTown, did yours look like it originally had the color-coordinated interior parts too? Or is it the standard black and parchment stuff generally?
In '72 there were quite a few that had a mix of what you would expect from a Ranger or Explorer. Even in '73 they didn't always get the whole package. Some would get the colored dash pad, but parchment sun visors. Others would get the opposite!

Fun stuff.

Well the previous owner pieced it together from several donors, so I can’t be sure of anything from the pieces. The dash pad is gone for the cage, but all the other accessories are parchment or black. The door handle cups look like they were orange, but have been painted black.

I do plan on lifting it, but not cutting it. 3.5 inch lift 30x9.50 with power brakes and steering.

Kind of a small-ish tire size for that much lift I would say.
If you're wanting to play on the street and not have to climb in higher than necessary, but still like the lifted look, maybe stick to 2.5" instead.
Or go with a 31" tire instead? Or both maybe?

It's just that (I think anyway) the 30" size looks a bit small even on an uncut that's been lifted at all. Much less 3.5" or so.
Even 31's (which almost fit on an un-lifted Bronco by the way) are small-ish and what is normally the minimum size-of-choice for a mild lift.

Just some thoughts.

Actually, I might be mistaken on that. I seem to recall seeing one somewhere years ago, but wondered when I typed that since it does not match a color for the Explorer. Perhaps it was a blue one I had seen or a parchment that had been sprayed with vinyl dye?

(I'm on my PC now, so my screen name is different. For some reason that Tapatalk app made me create a new log in which ended up creating a new account on my phone).

I like those '67 Sport door panels.....now that's rare!!

So I got my Marti Report back today. Mine’s neither a Sport or Explorer, haha.

Received the Marti for my 1972 Explorer Sport. Seems to be a disagreement on the name of the original color.

It looks like your statistics don't take into account the rarity of the explorer package, let alone the sport+explorer package. You have a much rarer Bronco than the report indicates.

Golden Rod and Durango Tan are the same.
Color code “X”for 72 and 73 are both code 2298 , but in 72 they called it Golden Rod and 73 it was called Durango Tan. Ford loved changing color names for the same color codes.
