Back on post 34 I started on power steps I am posting more pics to show how simple it is these power steps are for a 99 F250 you just cut the step board to the length you want. One wire activates it a purple wire to ground I am going to use a door button and a trunk button on a key fab .

You can see battery and wiring for mock up just a hot wire a ground wire to the control and a purple wire to ground to activate the step.

I will be making a aluminum spacer block to move the step up about 1" so the step will be higher than the bottom of the rocker. I need 4 pcs of 4"x6" 1/2" thick aluminum to move them up . I don't know where to get the aluminum plate yet ? Anyone have a source for it and will send me 8 pics I will fab up some spacers for you

Keith, I've used Metal Supermarkets in the past.. They've been helpful and easy to deal with.. Looks like you may be able to order directly from the store and have it delivered.. This week will be a bit tight for me, but if you cant get there, I may be able to run by the Marietta store for you.. Just let me know.
