Another year of no OCBR for me:(

Seems it's always the weather or work. This year it's a little of both. I keep saying there's always next year. Not sure how true that is as I'm not getting any younger!

Have fun everyone and be safe. oh, post a lot of pictures and video.

Looks like I may be able to make it for a day. I hope to make it my daughter's in Searcy Thursday night then head for OCBR for the day on Friday, then back to my daughter's Friday night.

Unfortunately, I have the steering box, power steering pump, and radiator out right now, so no Bronco. What would be the protocol? Just show up and hang out? What attire would be best (tennis shoes, muck boots, etc.)? I'm getting a little stoked that I may be able to make it.

Dress for warm weather and bring light jacket for early morning/evening if needed :)

Be there around 8:30. Shorts and shoes are fine.

I have a couple of hand held and a 60 watt of the rugged radios Absofreakinlutely love em

Is that 60w rugged programmable? I won a handheld from them last year (I think) and it's not programmable.

The radios I'm talking about are HAM radios to talk around the world.

Update: it's still gonna be wet. Maybe I shouldn't take the time to change my diff fluids? Then again, even on a dry week, there's usually lots of mud holes??

I'm sure Alan is in consultation with Mother Nature...but just to be safe..
I've ask for side curtains for the tent. and dates for 2022 may be adjusted....

I don't pay much attention to weather forecasts normally. So I was kind of surprised to see this rain will be caused by a tropical storm/hurricane thingy. And I chuckled a little because I took another screen shot a few hours after that one that had a video projecting all the rain to move east of us, so we may well get nothing at all. Not sure which is better... Either way, I'm planning to see ya'll sometime Tuesday.

Safe Travels! tent & storage arrive Tuesday.
I'm doing final sweep on supplies etc. and this is my first
year to actually have all day Monday to pack us!

Alan may be enjoying this same issue of Monday to pack...
