Maybe NicksTrix can get us a mass buy on a few of those 800 hp engines at his place of employment ;D. Maybe some of the rejects , I'll take two :)

Yes

Also I don't see a great selection of motors on that site...........and they ain't cheap

Yes, it is the same! But they have something "in the works" that is MUCH, MUCH less for the 347 (I'm talking what 77BroncoWag paid for his 302!)...not even close to the price on that site ;) I just sent the link so you'd be on the up and up with me. As far as selection, that is only for the 347 Stroker which is owned by Norris Marshall...Marshall Engines...for those that don't want the Stroker, we will be going through Marshall on the others. They have the rest of the selection. Great questions guys, appreciate the feedback!

Better deal for Mass Buy...and what they "chose for me". They are going to give great deals on great products so I'm not going to push them in any corners.

short block=no heads, just block with crank, rods, pistons, cam and timing chain.
long block=heads installed with pushrods and rockers. just swap over manifolds and tin(valve covers, oil pan timing chain cover) and install.

There are a few different opinions of shot and long, but only minor. some long blocks include tin and others do not. For swapping it isn't really a difference. I am sure that some engine houses just slap some old tin on more as a way to keep the inside of the engine clean then sell a more complete engine. Sometime short blocks may not come with a cam. But that is usually listed in the details.

They're working on it...with that many options they need to get everything formalized before I can post it...they've never done this before so hang tight...it won't be long.
