How much oil for a 302 with a filter chnge?

I tried to search but it keeps responding with an error (Min 4 words?).

6 quarts for sure?? I was told 5, no owonder I am always low on Oil?? Thanks guys!

Motorcraft FL-1A's work especially well in our old Broncos by the way 8)

I agree with astark,the Motorcraft FL-1A is a well made filter.When I first got my Bronco I had the same problem with getting the right info.....thanks to this site,it's no longer a problem.
