Just discovered your build thread yesterday. Very impressive work! Your dash and center console are amazing.

more of the pieces of the console arrived today. The stainless top plates are in process (just waiting on a quote), the vinyl upholds are in and ready to be put on, the heated seats/switches are in, I have the locking mech/catch and the hinge for the storage compartment.

I have all my bar stock for the body mounts and braces, the SS flat head screws will be in tomorrow...

Yesterday I mounted it in the truck and got all the shaping correct for how it butts up against the dashboard. I also checked the size and placement of the amps to go inside...

this just might get done yet! I also made some adjustments to the LR sub enclosure before slapping on the fiberglass...

Alpha,
With all those cup holders I think you're going to just end up giving yourself a headache trying to think where to put your drink down. You better save yourself the future migraines and just ship off the whole console to me in the morning. ;)
WOW. LOOKING GOOD. That thing is going be sweet.

I'd like to be at the top of the list for your first production console!!! Looks Awesome & I'm serious if you decide you'd ever want to make another and sell it!!! I look forward to more progress and pics!

I might do it Kane. I have a buddy that makes carbon fiber skydiving helmets that is willing to make a mold for me. He can vacuum bag and autoclave em.

I'll pick his brain and see what is the best way to go about it.

I got a ton of stuff for the console in the past couple days:
- 4 Spun aluminum cup holders
- bolts for the stainless top
- edge trim
- electroluminescent panels

OH... my gas filler tubing came in too... so it looks like there will be some progress made on installing gas tanks this weekend too

my build sheet from Marti Auto came today... very interesting information.

I actually have a Colorado Bronco that was "born" on my favorite day 3/22/68;D

Today was issue filled... just like many other projects.

First... the Superlift 3.5" kit that I got came with 2 sets of track bar bushings instead of 1 and didn't come with the smaller shackle bushings for the frame. So I only got the front end lifted and new bushings all around installed today.

The POR15 Silver Cote sprays on REALLY WELL if you thin it a bit. See photos...

Britt and I got a lot done but I think we could have done better if we had the bushings. I was really psyched to install my Nick's Trix Super shackles :(

That's ok... maybe over the holiday if I can get some bushings in before the holiday. Might get the hardtop on tomorrow since we ran out of light.

This truck GOT BIG real quick... now I'm excited to get the rears done too! :)

few more photos:
- got the wiper assembly installed
- the driver sub box is ready for fiberglass

Fun stuff... just have to order that damn spring shackle bushing set. Maybe Wednesday I can get that lift in the back done.

This was a 68 vacuum setup that I revamped to take electric wipers. Turned out pretty cool. Thanks to Newell tearing apart his setup so we could get the measurements and bolt holes figured out;D

I saw this on a rig on Ebay... definitely gave me something to think about as far as another way to put speakers/subs and inside rear quarter inserts in a Bronco.

Not sure if I want to change horses at this point... but I could see making something like this but a bit more sexy.

Wheels are turning... hmmmm?:?
