thanks for the compliment

Sunday I made my notches. One thing I really love about having a gigantic wood table to work on is I can easily make a "jig" by just screwing 2x4's into the top

Notched the bottom of the notch to fit the 2x3 and smoothed the notches

Cut all the fish plates last night, still need to add the ones to the inside and cut the main rails and plate them

Friday's progress was nothing much, just got the rails attached to the notches

Today's progress, I got a lot more done. Plated the rails to the notches. Lined up the rails to the fuel cell frame section. Squared and level everything then fully welded it in. Also built the frame section where the upper control arms will mount

WOW!!! Awesome build - you have some serious talent!

Thats one of the things I like most about the bronco - it can be a mean rock crawler, stock resto, mall cruiser or slammed beast!

keep up the great work - check out my gallery for shots of my roll pan - a definete requirement for this build!!! I'm working on a front pan too.

Very nice work!!

I'm definitely gonna be followin' this one. Ever since the first time I saw a pro street EB, I've wanted one... maybe someday. Sounds like your's will be more of a low rider than a hot rod, but it should still be very cool.

It's a lot more work, but have you thought about choppin' the top? I think every street rod EB I've seen has been a half cab. A chopped full top would be pretty cool, and definitely different.

Keep up the good work.

thanks for the compliments guys. I'll definitely check out your roll pan build. I have every intention of making one for the back, plan on just recessing the front bumper

I wouldn't get rid of my '73 for one, but I'd certainly love to add a lowered street rod EB to the collection!

U have some sick talent, I can't wait for more updates cause I am definatly following this one. Are u going to use bags or what for the suspension? How much of a body drop? are u going to chop it? I love the progress, keep up the good work

thanks guys. I'm using air bags on all four corners. I'll consider chopping the top, kind of want to see what kind of proportions it has sitting on the ground. Body mods are for next winter though, lol. The one thing I do want to do is merge the upper door/window frame with the top so that when the top is off it is a roadster

I like the build. I'm all about rollnlow.
I'm planning on doing a in the dirt job myself. That is after I get done with the one I started this winter.

Hell yes on the chop. I'd thing it would take much to get the look. I know the work for 1-2" would be bout the same as 5-6". But the 1-2" would look better. IMO
