Well let's update this thing a bit.
Truck's been back on the road since the beginning of April.
Just finished redoing my rear bumper for the third time. This time so it was stought enough to tow my tent trailer with. Here's a link to some pics of the bumper -

Here's the finished project. Still have to wire the brake controller and 7 way plug;
My big winter project was swapping to hydroboost from my power brakes. New explorer pump, lee's fitting and a new ps box also went in. I have great brakes and 1 finger steering at idle even with those 37's now. Very happy with them. Here's a link to some questions and answers from the good people at CB that helped me get it done -

Also traded my stock hardtop for a black bestop soft top with the zip out side and rear windows. My hardtop was in excellent shape but I was never going to use it. Went to a good home for a stocker project. Soft top will come in handy while camping with the tent trailer this summer. Top off is fun but the kids get a lil crispy on long drives.
Managed to get some turnbuckles rigged up as windshield to roll bar supports. Wish i did this way before. So nice to not have the windshield banging around all the time. If you havent done this on your rig yet I would shoot it to the top of your list. Gotta be one of the best bang for the buck mods out there.
Next up is to build some seat backs for those dodge journey rear seats and paint & install my tailgate latch before a big local father's day car show here.
