Those floors look nice in the middle and back part.

Frame radius mounts are beefy; I've never seen those before.

Today I got most of the bed liner removed. Used aircraft stripper and pressured wash most of it out. Still have some more to remove, but now I know what I've got to work with. Removed the jacked up inspection plate on the trans tunnel. Also cut out the front floor patches someone welded over the old floor pans. The front pans are rusted out as expected. The only other place I found some rust at so far is the battery tray brackets. Also removed the front clip today.

Yeah I don't how to act right now. I'm so used to replacing 50-75% of the old metal. The tub on this truck is in good shape.

Great progress so far! Love watching these builds.

What else is planned for the suspension? Curious what kind of high speed offroading he plans to do - I immediately thought 4 link when I read that but then I saw 5.5" springs - isnt that a bit tall for that type of application?

Also interested in what the EB Hard Knocks bumpers look like - I dont see any EB specific ones on their site.

Bump!!! Any progress? Looking forward to the buildup as well. Looks like a really solid truck to work with though.

Alright I have slacked off long enough........ I picked up the Hard Knox bumpers at Super Celebration and I've also got the Duff 5.5" Monster Lift. I don't believe he is looking at the high speed desert thing as much now. Today I started cutting out the front floor pans. I did find a little more rust but not too bad. I will repair it before installing the pans. We are using the TBP pans. I like them because they are thick and one piece where the original 2 piece rusts in the seam. I just layed one of the new panels in and have not fitted it yet.

What grille and gate, beaux312? ;D

Today got around to removing the body and got it on the rotisserie. Now to finish up the floor pans and start cleaning up the tub.
