'88 Tbird - EFI Swap

I am working on transplanting a 5.0 EFI from an '88 Tbird into my Bronco. I was not up to speed prior to the swap about the Speed Density vs MAF difference's so an off the shelf harness wont do me any good since nobody makes one for the speed density versions of the 5.0.

I do have the factory harness from the Tbird, does anyone know the pinouts of the EEC-IV 8KC ECU, or know of a good resource for someone who has done this swap?

I order a repair manual from half.com for the t-bird for cheap.

Ditto-I just did a swap from a MAF 93 model tbird and reused the original harness and computer. I would have been SOL without the factory service manual (EVTM). I found one on ebay.

Thanks guys... I did find on fordfuelinjection.com (http://fordfuelinjection.com/5.0Lpinouts.html) that they have listed the pinouts for the ECM covering most of the Ford configurations. It would definitely be nice to reduce the number of wires from 60 down to the 15-20 wires that are actually needed for the engine management.

Call Ric and see what he can do for you. Go to his website and look under services. He rebuilt my t-bird harness. 3 wire setup and it was running with everything labeled. Best money I ever spent on the bronco. Even though it's SD I'm sure he could figure it out in a hurry.

i "think" the RJM harness will also work with SD.

if not and you need one i can set you one up or modify your harness.
