So many variables... I mean a dozen or more. When I figured out (accidently) what caused the "Infamous Bronco Lean" back in the '90's and wrote up the fix it was easy to determine as there were only a couple potential variables because my Bronco didn't have the lean before and all I had done was insert new springs.
After installation it leaned! WTH? lol I remembered that many of us were having the same problem because at that time we were buying new long travel soft riding springs. I swapped springs side to side and it still leaned.
So I started fiddling and figured it out. I only said all of the above because I only had two possible scenario's. We have no idea what's going on with your build...
Do you have...
- new springs front
- new springs rear
- new bushings
- how long have you owned this rig
- did it lean when you bought it
- did you work on the front end at all
- did you work on the rear leafs
- did it start leaning all of a sudden like after a wheeling trip
Need more info before we start listing 12 or more different potential causes...
But to answer your questions: I don’t know if it has new coil springs, rear leafs look original, the bushings have been replaced by the previous owner, had it for about 1year, I didn’t notice it if it did, just the steering linkage, haven’t touched the leaf springs. I haven’t driven it yet so no wheeling.
Do know that a previous owner did some “hoaky “ things to it. like electric seats that didn’t work with electrical wires all over the floor among other stuff.
