Kinda. If I didn't swap motors, I would be driving it now.

I dont regret anything on my bronco so far. I am sure down the road I will have to do over something and curse myself for it!%) I use my fresh air vent all the time with bare steel floors a little air helps my feat out. I think everyone needs 3 broncos, one for the trail, one to drive and make road freindly and an all original one for shows!!! I have three but they are all multi use so I guess I need more !!!!!

It sounds like the new definition of the word regret is: That strange feeling of excitment you feel when you rip some stock part off and replace it with something bigger and better! ha!;D

My regret is not knowing enough about Bronco's before diving into one. I could have saved a bunch of $$$'s by just looking for a frame and title and starting from scratch.

I have pretty much replaced everything so far with new parts including every nut and bolt. Could have saved money from the initial purchase since many of the existing parts were tossed or sold for pennies.

Live and learn I guess. Hell, if I didn't spend it on my Bronco my wife would want 1/2 anyway.

I've reversed a few of my regrets already (mostly a certain vendors parts), but for me it was easy, I literally only had a frame to start with!!

And the other two regrets is installing a used motor/tranny in a ground up build............never will I do that again!

My only regrets are some of the things I did to it in highschool when I first bought it. In a way I am my own PO. Most of the "high school mods" are gone now. :)

Boy i opened up a can of worms! ha!;D It's great getting all the input everyone else has had during their bronco builds. Obviously it's a little late for me and has been, but i took it a step further and removed the stock fresh air vent box thats been taking up wiring space under my dash.:D That's another question "how many guys have actually used the fresh air vent"? Always seemed easier just to roll the window down.

Oh boy, you just struck a nerve there. I can not for the life of me understand why people are removing their fresh air vent. I use mine ALL the time. In fact the one reason I will not buy any of the AC conversions on the market is because they invariably remove the passengers side fresh air vent too. I mean, jeez, there's a lot of stale air down in the foot well and having that nice outside air blasting through is a blessing.
