It's been sitting in the garage for a few weeks now! :( We have been really busy then Jeff hurt his back and has not done much with it yet. We got a good quote for paint. ;D Only problem is that we got a good quote to fix some spots, fill in some holes and paint part of Jeffs :-X .... so his is in the body shop and mine will be after the new year. We got new leaf springs, coils and shocks for mine. Should have them on soon. Still having some issues with the electrical. I'm just thrilled that I finally have my own. I plan on having it at SOB!

Jess

I hope that jeff's back gets better soon! Do you have any major plans for yours or will you keep it how it is?
I can't wait to see it at S.O.B. next year.

here are some pictures of my dash.
It is pretty much blank except for the glove box, heater controls, and ignition.

I had some issues with the all-metal body filler. It was pretty old and had some chunks which i couldn't get out. So i will have to wait to get some new stuff before i can continue. You might see some of the chunks in the pictures.
Also there is a picture of my new gas peddle from mooneyes. I got a matching dimmer switch cover too

1/11 updates

over winter break i got a lot of work done. I am hoping to get it registered and on the streets within the next week.

In the past week i have
-rebuilt, resealed, and installed my heater
-clamped down all the wiring, fuel, and brake lines running up and down the frame and in the engine compartment
-located holes and installed my homemade door panels
-taken care of 80% of small odds and ends (like bolting the hard top down)
-finished the body work on my dash and painted it
-drilled out my knuckles for rod end steering set up
-cut off old school dual shock mounts

All i need to do now to get it on the road is
-install dash and connect wiring
-measure and cut steering linkage
-bolt down the seats and seatbelts
-wire the alternator
-get it registered and insured

pics to come

Ok last weekend I was able to get the Dash completely installed and wired.
Now all i need to do is install my illuminescent gauges. Since i moved the lights and wiper switches over to the left side of the column I had to cut and extend the wiring harness about a foot. Besides the hassle of getting the ignition switch in, everything went smoothly and i only lightly scratched the bottom of the dash on the t-shift handle. Hopefully this weekend I can get the steering measured out and fabricated. After that I will be ready to rock the streets .

P.S. does anybody have a stock door mirror or intermittent wiper switch i can buy?

I am also thinking of Ideas for my gauges. I don't like the look of the shiny aluminum bezel around the white faces like some people have. I was thinking either painting it the body color or a grayish color. What do you think?

Pictures of some white face gauges would be nice to ;)

Looks great JJ! I am glad that you can finally enjoy it. We will miss you at Sandlake this year. It won't be quite the same without the Kriz family, your uncle Kevin and you. I hope you can bring your bronco next year.

Thanks guys :) I just ordered the Weatherstripping a couple nights ago so hopefully it will stop rattling as bad. I also put some cheapo rear shocks on it last night which helped out the ride a hell of a lot. Right now I am just doing some upgrades to make it a little more comfortable to drive. I move away to Santa Barbara for college next month so I won't be able to drive it for a while. :( hopefully by the time next S.O.B. rolls around it will be a pretty sweet ride. I am bummed to miss you guys this year but my eagle scout project has pretty much consumed my life lately.

what color did you settle on shawn? And I will give kevin the hi's from everybody.

That bronco turned out awesome, it sucks that we cant all be at sandlake this year, weve had to much fun previous years hanging out and goofing around. Enjoy the bronco while you can before you go to school, the down time not getting to drive the bronco sucks, trust me.....

Took the top off a couple days ago for the first time in who knows how long. It was a little difficult to get the rear braces out but with enough help it came out. Took it off because I kept getting weird comments about the socks stuck in between the top and the quarters and I bought new weatherstripping. ;D

well nothing is without pics so here are a few
