Watching tonight's episode of Gas Monkey and noticed they have another early Bronco sitting on their lot (you could see it when the German guys were talking). Maybe it belongs to an employee or something....it looked to be grey/primer with the top off.

What is Gas Money Garage? ;D

Dumb, but funny show on the Discovery Channel.

I wonder how these businesses do after the cameras are off. I haven't heard anything from Jesse James, The Teutels, Boyd Coddington (nevermind, he passed away).

I know I've seen OC Choppers on tv recently.. and Jesse James had at least one season for his Austin Speed Shop.. but it looks like he's bringing back West Coast Choppers in some way or form and has started making firearms as well.

I looked at three of thier audtions and all said it. Didnt care enough to keep looking.

I saw it too. My take on Fast n loud is it is a fun entertaining show. It is not a high dollar restoration show. I like the fact they have fun with what they build and they build different cars. Not just mustangs, Camaros and vettes. I like the odd ball cars form the 50s. I really like the Ford Galaxie they did a with the new 5.0 motor in it. The bronco they did was a joke but they made money on it and it was fun to see on TV. It is a TV show get over it!!%)

Its a TV show. Dollar to a doughnut the bronco was commissioned by Twin Peaks the show was scripted why would anyone pick that color scheme that so closely matched Twin Peaks? The 57 Fairlane for Mark Cuban was also a commissioned car. The whoile stroy line was made up for entertainment. Why would you paint that car white with that green dash unless it was always going to the Dallas Mavericks. The Ferrari??? Come on. That rich friend of his found that car wrecked and the rest of the sory was scripted to make the TV show intertaining.

I like the show and watch the show but it ain't real. Its realality TV......

You all do realize that the entire show is scripted right? Yes the build/sell/ and flip cars, but not exactly the way it goes down on the show. The prices can be inflated and the buyers and sellers setup before hand.

That Bronco build was 100% commissioned and done for publicity. I doubt he really paid 50k for it unless that was the negotiated price due to being on TV.

I also don't think that ferrari build just showed up on the driveway. I'm sure Dennis bought that thing and had it shipped to the shop and done up for TV.

With that said, it's all for entertainment. Just like Wrestling, enjoy it for what it is but know it's not all true.

I think Gas Monkey has only done one so far. Foose has done 2 though.

If I'm not mistaken, Gas Monkey did a rebuild for Twin Peaks and then did another quick job, not a total rebuild. So are we talking about that one?

I just saw the Twin Peaks one so I must have missed the second one. I usually watch at night as I'm falling asleep so I miss things.

you are correct sir

They did one for a woman I believe but it was just a few quick segments during the show like they needed a little filler.
