In your previous post how did you know you were at TDC? Do you know if you are getting spark to the plugs when it's turning over? If you are getting spark, and you know where TDC is, are you sure you are getting fuel into the cylinders? What exactly have you done this far? Give us a little more information on your problem...

Sorry, I re-read and see you aren't getting spark to #1, so the problem may not be with the distributor alignment, but somewhere else. Though, if you moved the distributor around, it could be off now... but it should still send a spark to that #1 plug somewhere in the rotation. I think you need to make sure you are getting spark to the plugs before you look at the distributor alignment. What kind of Coil or Ignition do you have? Is it new also?

looks like you need to start back tracking, and find where the weak link is... do you have spark from the coil to the distributor? Did the vehicle run before the distributor and coil change?

Just a thought here, if you changed your stock (points) distributor out with an electronic ignition (duraspark) replacement, you will also need to add an ignition module to the mix. That could be the problem??

see if getting 12v to the coil then take the plug wire from the coil that would goto the dizzy and see if you get spark. If no spark then bad coil. If you got spark going to dizzy check one of the spark plug wires to see if spark is getting to them.
