I have a 1976 with paint code B. It is called Dark Jade Metallic. When I got that color from the auto body paint shop, the color chip closely matched the inner door jams.
I’m a total newbie when it comes to Bronco’s, but I have a question about decoding a VIN. My title says U14NLC70071. I’ve been told the VIN indicates a ‘76, but how could that be for a half cab? Thanks

Thank you very much.! This makes a lot more sense. Someone else sent me to a site called VINwiz which was telling me it was a ‘76. Obviously that was incorrect. I’ve got a lot to learn....
Based on the broncohio site, C70071 could also be June of 1976 (C50000 to C74999)? Maybe that’s where the confusion is coming from. But they didn’t make U14 after 1972, correct?

The above is true however there was no N engine code in '76. There was also no G engine code in '68. There is no way to confuse them if you look at the whole VIN.
