Are replacement parking brake pedal assemblies available?

I'm trying to get my parking brake functional again and I'm finding a bunch of little things wrong with my parking brake pedal assembly. Nothing overly serious, but enough that I'm wondering if replacing it wouldn't be a better idea. I don't really want to get another old rusty one that is likely to require as much attention as the one I have. But I'm not finding them available from the retailers. Does anyone know if / where they might be available?

I bought a nice condition, ready to go, assembly from Randy @ Driven 4x4 in Phoenix, Az.

Tom's and LMC both used to carry brand new aftermarket parking brake assemblies but stopped a year ago or so. They seemed to be available for just a short time. No clue why they're no longer carried, but perhaps a call to each would shed some light. I'd be curious to find out why they were available so briefly.

I tried to buy one from Toms. They said that the quality level wasn't up to snuff for them, so they were going back to the drawing board and hoped to have another option available in the future.

I went through two used ones that were problematic, before stumbling across an N.O.S. assembly. I paid an arm and a leg for it, but it at least it works perfectly.

I cut mine apart, cleaned it up, and welded up the worn pawl. Reassembled it, and used a couple of tack welds on the drilled out rivets, rattle canned some semi gloss black, and it works just fine. Maybe took an hour to fix it.

Not sure if it's the same part number, but these are for Ford Trucks. One repo, one new old stock....

$150 - $200 is more than I'd hoped to pay, especially if I don't know for sure that it would work.

You can buy an electric aftermarket one that is universal.

I briefly considered it. But the first one I found was $500. And I don't really love the idea of adding more wiring (I'm not really a Luddite, but I do like keeping old vehicles old). But not having to deal with getting the pedal moved out from behind the roll cage would definitely be a plus.

I'll probably end up going this route. I think my pawl is OK. Mostly it's a lot of surface rust that will be hard to clean up without drilling out the rivets. But it doesn't look like a replacement will be either easy enough to find or cheap enough to justify not fixing up what I have.
