AX-15 Transfer Case Clocking

Just a few miles now on my AX15 swap. Is my TC clocked correctly? I just noticed the front driveshaft is rubbing the crossmember at droop. Photos are frame raised on tall stands and axle let down on the ground (clearance to drop the oil pan), probably 4-6" of droop equivalent. It does not rub at static height (2.5" lift), but it's close. Springs and full suspension still attached, just the frame supported up top.

The TC is stock position with the dana tag and drain plug 'level'. Is there a bushing or something else to raise the transmission mount on top of the crossmember? Seems like that would help. I have the mount bolted straight to the crossmember. There is lots of adjustment but can't go back more without hitting the tcase, and can't go forward without rubbing more on the front double cardan.

Is this normal?

FYI, Clocking up can cause pinion u-joint to bind if you have a low pinon front axle.
Check everything at full droop prior to deciding your solution. I would lean toward a relief in the crossmember. You could consider a limit strap as failsafe.

I have some good 1x3 metal I could fab a new crossmember, but I don’t think that would get the clearance, still. Needing the same notch as this one.

I’m going to try the simplest route first (a rarity for me). I’ll make a shim plate to raise the transmission mount ~1/4” taller with the same bolts and threads. That would fix it I think without upward clocking.

Had same issue with front drive shaft and crossmember interference. Just ground a little notch in the crossmember.
