This popped up local to me and the price is right. I'll be interested in it if it's large bearing (and actually a bronco rearend). I haven't gotten to go look at it myself yet. My current rear is small bearing small brakes.

Post says: “9 inch Ford differential ( rear end). Looked it up it says online came out a 72 Ford bronco.”

Also, if anyone has the wheel mount to wheel mount width on top of their head I'd appreciate it.

An early bronco housing would have the shock mounts outboard of the spring perches,,,and the drums appear wider and smaller in diameter then expected,,,

Looks like 3.00 gear ratio....thers a 3. in front of the 00 on the tag .

It is big bearing, and it not Bronco, but it will bolt into a 78-79 Bronco, or a 75-79 F100/F150.

The tag should also say "WDM-BC2" I can't see the whole tag. Is there a W there?

That's a 3.00 ratio, 31 spline, cast on January 26, 1976 and built in the first week of February.

Its a trussed heavy duty housing with inboard forward facing shock mounts. Spring perch distance will also be wider than EB. Should be big bearing, big bolt...and the brakes should be the same as 76-77 EB. (I think...)

The EB axle is about 58 WMS.

With the elongated housing, it could only be a '77 rear end if it was in fact an EB rear end.

However, as stated, due to the shock mount location, it's clearly a full size rear end.
