Good to know. I’ll be the old man with the bald head, glasses and a pot belly. Should be easy to pick out since there are so few that fit that description.

Yeah, I was wondering why you would put an unprotected fuse box under the hood like that. On the other hand, I have a more robust front bumper for mine, but I'm thinking about going back to stock. It looks nice with a stock one.

Holy...that's all the money. It's original, unlike the one I posted, but I can't imagine the one I posted going for less than that.

You're right. I was thinking that they would top out around $75k. So much for that thinking.

Up to 12 Broncos now and they are assigning lot numbers. Basing them off previous years, the majority of Broncos are Thursday with a couple on Tues/Wed and 4 on Sat/Sun. Very strange they have none on Friday as that has always been a great Bronco day. 2 Friday Broncos went for $100K+ last year

Also I finally heard back on consigning mine. They love it and are working on a placement time but they got slammed with more cars. They are figuring out the best place for it and will get back to me. Im not going to put it in but just curious what they say. I bet they are trying to squeeze me into Thursday or Sunday

I did finally hear back from the consignment manager on putting mine in the auction and his first offer was Sunday afternoon. I told him that's historically not been a good day except the last 2 years where Bronco's average $40K. If Im going to sell mine its gotta be when the alcohol is flowing! He said he could move me to a prime time spot on Weds or Thurs or possibly even move me to Friday morning. That is the day I was hoping for but its just too soon and there's too many Broncos in the auction now to add it this late. I told him I would strongly consider it next year. He said send it in early as next year is the 50th Anniversary of Barrett Jackson and with the new Bronco out, it should be the best Bronco year ever.

By the way they want $900 for a regular slot and $1,400 for prime time. They give you a 2 hour window on when it should cross the block at no reserve and then you pay the 8% commission. They didn't want to look at it in person and didn't ask any questions about it all. Maybe because I included the build thread with it. They do ask you for an estimated value and short paragraph on it as well as photos and a picture of the VIN/Title.

I also asked BJ about taxes and reporting sales. They don’t charge the seller sales tax, but they do charge the buyer sales tax depending on how they purchase the vehicle. All sold notices are sent to the state with the buyer and seller information. The only fees they charge the seller is the entry fee and 8% commission. They leave it up to the customer to decide how they report the money to the government.
