On that truck I was disappointed to learn that the big-$$ Classic Instruments cluster didn't work and the Protofab rear bumper seemed to have a nasty rear-lean on it.

'S got the '79 only sliders AND the rare
wing or vent windows. What model was
THAT called: XLT? "Camper" - it had a paint
scheme I wanna put on my EB some day -
the panels (sm 1 on tail gait center, belt line to
rockers on the sides), chrome grill. Later they used the
brushed alu in the tailgait for the same "panel area"...

$66K for the orange peeled orange Bronco. What is the story with the metal flake paint? Some photos it looks like a ton of flake and some it looks like the worst orange peel Ive ever seen. Or its the best raptor liner tint Ive ever seen haha

Anyone watch the Ford GT prototype? Stuck at $250K and then it went up to $500K and didnt meet reserve. I checked the VIN and it cant be registered. What would it take to make it street legal? Ford have to sign off on it?

What that top radiator hose means is that the buyers don't KNOW any better. They just have a ton of money to spend on something that they want. I would bet they don't even know the difference between an OE style hose and a universal one.

I'm not to surprised at the crazy prices, I've seen this happen with the mustang, and the bubble popped and prices went down. I'm more worried about prices going up on parts to restore and up keep on are Broncos getting out of hand !!!!!

I started a post on parts prices NOT BASHING vendors but trying to point out that if you've kept some catalogs around and have compared prices between 2018 and 2021 you will be literally BLOWN away by the price increases on parts in the vendors catalogs. WOW.

Personally, I wish the price of Broncos would immediately crash down to 2005 prices. Then without a hundred thousand flips going on, parts prices would drop again hopefully. Insurance would be attainable for those of us that actually drive them, not store them in a controlled atmosphere storage area.
