I would think scam too, but the seller has 334 reviews, 100% positive. Also I think the ‘overboard’ has been spellcheck corrected from ‘overbored’ which was in the BaT auction description.

I sent him a email thru eBay I asked why it’s for sale again he didn’t answer my question just asked me to make a reasonable offer he sent me 20 pictures don’t know what to think could be a scam

There is some way that they can hack a legit account and then get all the correspondence to go to the scammer and then get some sucker to send them a deposit, or cash up front.

Ill bet if someone reported it, they would investigate it and it would come off ebay within a day or two.

I bought motors, etc from 1500 mi away, sight unseen (cores, short$)
but will not do so w/bigger items. I bought from guys in "these clubs" I
knew for decade or so. Wrked OK. FB Mrkt place (they can't close a deal - it's just to "show off" what they got or scam). CL usta B good , no more, flee-bay - almost as bad as FB...

I'm not gunna buy a car at an auction (BaT etc). Re-dick-lou-ous prices~

I’ve seen vehicles auctioned through BaT get relisted after non payment. Maybe there is a waiting process for that to happen but still seems suspicious to me.

yeah, sure anything like that can B of assistance.

I saw what I wanted somewhere 1/2 the country away. Being
in my price range means no large sum financially. I can p/u sight un-seen.
(and 'repair' - just don't like lots of body wrk - pic can tell me)
I contacted a local (to the seller) attorney to hold the $ till I got the car ('83/6 family wagon: LTD/Marquis) but he thought it was a scam. The local-to-the-seller Board of Bar overseers/Bar association - no post back. I should of thought of Banks (they like to make money offa money) as nother source.

Thnx I'll ck this one. I believe the vehicle is still there. Its price is doubled by the movers. Just wish they would give seller 'final payment' but I can only get brokers to conect w/the LTF (tow, open carried, etc) & this service is not offered (can't talk to driver). This system is complicated as it involves up to 5 parties ...
I do direct contracting w/owners/drivers but they just go N/S & this is W of MA.:-X
