As much as I like Broncos, I’d have to get 2 vintage Shelby Mustangs for that amount of coin.

But a nice hemi 4-speed Charger sold for only $64k.

Now if the value of '67 fastbacks starts falling through the floor I'm all in for one.

Pretty nice but still a crazy price. Although it does make me feel better about the $25-40K investment I'm putting into mine.

would have tighter account (top not double the amount of lowest) altho right now w/the stooopid prices U can B less accurate & still come out minimally.

Ol daze? we'd say "You R lucky to get 1/2 of what U put in. Sales price? Its all for the labor" (prts/labor/rig = final ask). I just wanted the nxt vehicle and a free ride (length depended on nxt beat-up beauty I wanted) I could never afford. Buy low drive/restore/sell average. That fun is gone now w/auction sales so prevalent and net sales so widely marketing. Some 1 above stated it - they're only for the rich now. Those I restored/ran (50s/60s Italian mostly) are not at Goldie's junk yrd and cost several hundred thousand. Bronks pretty much the same.

Make them pretty and they sell. This is nice but 81k plus fees? I may have to give it a try. I have an all original sheet metal 71 AZ Bronco that I would take half that for! Granted not a ranger but it is the straightest one I have ever seen. I doubt it would even get close to this though as the ones bringing crazy money are pretty dolled up.

I love the color but I would not have thought this would have brought 80k with rusted wells and torn up seats. Yes it is original but holes cut for stereo and speakers and faded interior just don't seem to make sense for the premium. But then again, it changes all the time.

Well, it just had an oil change.

It is how Bring a Trailer works. One of the questions that every seller is asked, "when was it last serviced" with "what was serviced".

If you are dealing with an Italian exotic that requires the engine to be dropped out to change the timing belt, that is a very large repair bill and if it was recently done there is some true value added to the car. Or if you know it needs to be done, you know there will be a hefty expense once you get it.

But for stuff like a Bronco, it just got an oil change. Yea, that is a fairly pointless comment. But it is how Bring a trailer works. The person selling the vehicle does not write the ad, a Bring a Trailer staffer writes it based off information submitted and standard questions asked. As a seller you do get to proof read the ad, suggest corrections. Hopefully you are good at proof reading the ad or else someone will pick it apart in the comments.

that site has gone dwn hill, 1st B4 sold (to Hemmings I think), now more. I like the other channel beddah (BF) but it has become more highly puterized (the 2 fellas became overwhelmed). Petrolicious (nota sales sight) is good, I found 1 other I liked'n lost it (thru lack of use). On-line sales has mostly ruined what I usta do (partially due to cost rise) unless local (I can inspect easily). But BaT seems just way off to me. Just call me a grumpy ol man (gee, I wasn't an angry YOUNG man)~

I have trouble deciphering some of your posts. What is the “other channel”? Is it another auction site?

Don't feel bad, I couldn't figure it out either.

If you are looking to sell, hard to find a better option than BaT.
Buying on the other hand, if you have the money it has the options. If poor, generally not worth it.

I have bid on several vehicles there but they soon got to a point where the BAT regulars began overbidding them. Seems to be a crowd of people who buy and flip after a year or soÂ…. Pulling up some of their profiles confirms it. Definitely a good place to sell.
