That may be more $$$ feasible than paying to ship the core back to WCB. How much is your time worth? I like it.

Just got off the phone with Kevin at Baumann. It will start it next Monday Jan 30 and run it through Feb 10. All you would have to do is call the number below when it starts and ask for Kevin, let him know you want to get in on the mass buy. He accepts all major credit cards including American Express as well as PayPal. With the credit cards, he won't run them till the last day so he will know the final price depending on how many and the total discounted price. The paypal folks should call and let him know you're in and pay the final day so you pay the correct price. I think the C/C is an easier way to go so we know who exactly is in.

I hope this makes sense... Brad

If you want to get a head start, he is accepting orders now. He's going to need some crucial info about your trans, the year, what's powering it, (EFI or Stock) what wiring harness you're using, He is emailing me the list of technical things he needs and I will post it when I get it. Might save you making a few calls back and forth. If you belong to other forums, let them know and they can get in on this buy which will help us bring the price down. Chevy's, Cummin's swaps all can participate. When your order is in, let me know and I will post it on the the first post so we can keep track!

Thanks, Brad

The following transmission connector information for the AODE / 4R70W will be needed for anyone who is not sure of the year of their transmission.

This information refers to the connectors on the transmission, not the connectors on a wiring harness that might be connected to the transmission.

1) Main connector is on the passenger's side and comes up through the transmission case above the pan rail.

WHITE connector = 1997 and earlier BLACK connector = 1998 and newer

2) Range sensor is on the driver's side and is bolted to the case over the manual lever shaft.

8 pin type connector = 1997 and earlier 12 pin type connector = some 1997, all 1998 and newer

3) Speed sensor is on the driver's side of the main case and is bolted on just behind and above the range sensor.

Rectangular connector (blue seal) = 2000 and earlier Square connector (no seal) = 2001 and newer

If anyone needs help identifying their transmission or has any other questions, just give Baumann a call at 864-646-8920.

Give Kevin at Baumann a call. Maybe you could pay for one in advance (Like store credit) then when you get your trans, give him the details of your trans. Just a thought...

Okay folks, 4 people have called to placed their order. WTF? This ends in one week.

Order placed today. I delayed my shipment since I don't have my transmission yet but at least I will be able to lock in the good deal.

For those that are waiting to place an order for payday, go ahead and place the order today. They are not going to charge credit cards until the end of the mass buy to get the final price. I was told they are going to charge cards on Feb 13th and start shipping the units out Feb 14th. All that said they would buy one.. We are holding you accountable:p.. Let’s get going.
