@FordBronc yes unfortunately Jim passed many years ago. Their remaining inventory was liquidated a few years ago.

If my stories are straight Jim passed doing what he loved in an accident on the trail in the late 90’s.

All these PAW stickers. I don’t remember this store. Did they come to be after Super Shops closed down?

They were around as a HUGE supplier of everything aftermarket 30 yrs back. I bought a fair amount of stuff from them back then.

Here's another on the inside of my console... I should have this in the middle of my hood! lol

Dash knobs are probably the only stock thing left on my Bronco... just the knobs- although my electric wipers are OE Bronco since I had to replace my windshield frame and had to narrow my vacuum wiper width '68 frame hole spacing to fit the newer & wider '69 electric wiper hole spacing... so it's not stock for my rig since I had to reweld this one back to it's OE hole spacing width. :)

PAW was a store during the same time as Super Shops. I never knew PAW to have a brick and mortar location, but they might have, whereas Super Shops had brick and mortar locations here in AZ.

I had a set of 32x11.50' x 15" tires BFG'S on hold for $5 :) when Super Shops went under... 5 bucks man- I was devastated when I drove by my local store 40 miles away and couldn't get my 5 bucks back!

Times were tough for us all back then LOL... 5 BUCKS! :)

PAW - Performance Automotive Wholesale.
Huge catalog!

Could’ve sworn I bought stuff from them in the 70s, even before I had a super shops close by.
But I just googled images of the catalog and on the cover it says Performance Automotive “Warehouse“ and “since 1982“
But it also says in one image, something about owned by performance automotive wholesale.
Maybe there was a different entity before that? Or maybe that name came later and just stuck in my head. Because I do remember the warehouse part as well.
Funny how things get jumbled together, and years become vague!

But I still say it was a HUGE catalog!

Maybe one of these days I’ll find my rear under seat storage box with the sticker “Duffy‘s“ as they used to be known when they were still in Southern California.

I still have a PAW catalog from the late 90's....it's awesome to crack that open from time to time. Built a lot of engines from that catalog

PAW had a huge warehouse in Chatsworth, CA, I think. They did the original machine work on my 351W.

I remember the Chatsworth address. In fact, before they closed, I think I even went in there one time. Of course, that’s happened more than a few times to companies that I’ve known over the years.

There were a lot of mom and pop offroad stores in the valley and surrounding area back in the late 70’s 80’s. I remember frequenting Buggy Bunker, Pacific Offroad and Santa Monica Offroad often. They had some nice stickers also.

Yeah, figured you were pretty low on the list!
Jerry Ornellas had member number 75, or something like that. I think mine was in the 700s. I’ll have to go find my card.
