OK I sold my 1967 Camaro to buy my 69 Bronco. I had the Camaro for about 20 years and over the years did quite a few upgrades to it. It started as a stock 327 with powerglide trans. Before I started the upgrades, I took it out to a straight stretch of road and did multiple 0-60 mph runs to establish a baseline. When I started the Camaro would do 0-60 in 9 seconds. After all the standard upgrades, heads, exhaust, headers, cam, trans; the car would do 0-60 in 7 seconds.
So, today I take the Bronco out for a similar test. I wanted to establish a baseline to see how the upgrades affect things. This blinding fast Bronco did 0-50 mph in 14 seconds. Didn't go to 60 because it felt like it would take another 10 seconds.
So anyone out there with a nice 351, or 302 care to tell me how fast their Bronco will go 0-50, just so I know what's possible.
