I know how this light works on my 68 Bronco and the different ways it turns on. Does anyone know of all the different ways Ford has used to turn this light on when there is a difference in brake hydraulic circuit pressure? I'm working on my neighbors 2005 Taurus (non ABS) and for the life of me can't find this switch to turn on that light for differential pressure detection. The reason is that sometimes the light will flicker as if the emergency brake switch isn't ungrounding the light or the brake fluid level switch is doing the same but I disconnected both of them and the light still flickers sometimes. I have the factory shop manuals and I guess that I'll need to follow these circuits to search for an answer for the light flicker. Still I sure would like to know how Ford decided to show differential brake pressure to the driver. I thought that it was law.
I forgot that I wanted to say that I ask here because of all the great answers I always see on this Bronco forum. Thanks.
