I am pricing out having a few bronco explorer tire covers made. They will be pricey. They will probably be $200 5 color. I probably need ten buyers. Any interest? Mark in San Diego; Beach City Broncos.

How are you planning to make them? Printed ,or stitched material, or heat formed and vulcanized like the originals?

$200 would not be all that pricey in my opinion. I'll give a second recommendation for Angie. I can't seem to find her contact info, probably long lost but search for "Angie and tire cover" on here.

She did one for me years ago and I have been more than happy with it. That many colors may require a bit more work therefore a bit higher price. My cover was for my Sport and just has black FORD Bronco with the bucking horse in the middle on a white cover.

tire cover

I do not know who Angie is. The guy I got the bid from is advertising bronco tire covers on Craigslist. I believe he is located in Florida. He sells to Walmart and sells on ebay. I believe it is a good sized outfit. He told me the first one is $600; Thereafter they are $100 apiece. Shipping is about $30, plus sales tax. I figured about $200 each. Probably takes about ten to amortize the initial cost. If someone else wants to take on this project, I am happy to just buy one from somebody. Sounds like other people are more knowledgeable than me. Thanks. Mark

I sent angie an email a few months ago. she is still making covers. I had her make me a bronco ranger one years ago. the quality was great, but they were not identical to the original in that the letters and horse were stitched on. The original isn't like that, and it drove me nuts

Yet another tire cover from Angie a few years back. Had this one done in a color to match the Chariot. The heaviest material and best hardware that I have seen. Solid business practices and no muss, no fuss dealings.

That's a great result Mark! Good for Angie.
Not that we're happy just to take business away from the other guy, who's supporting a business too. But the difference in price, and not doing it through outsourcing to China, or compromising quality, is too substantial to ignore.

Thanks for reporting the results.

I’m interested. What size tire(s) will it fit?
