Hey everyone, just a friendly reminder that the deadline for registering for the event is approaching which is JULY 15TH. Registration guarantees you a shirt, grab bag, raffle tickets, meal tickets, etc. We changed up the event a bit this year allowing for more time on the dunes. 9 AM - 11 AM Early pick up for pre orders at campground check in

1 PM - 4 PM Vendor set up

4 PM - 6 PM Gate opens to trucks

6:30 PM - Dinner Sponsored by James Duff

8:00 PM - Raffle/ Awards

9:30 PM - Bon Fire



SATURDAY, AUGUST 4, 2018


10 AM Line up at Val Du and parade to Dunes

2:00 PM - Line Up/Group Photo on Dunes

8:45 PM Line up close to Lake Michigan for an amazing sunset and get some pictures

I really like the show moved to Friday, I will be there either Thursday night or early Friday morning.
The Heroes on the dunes event is the weekend prior this year so it should be a little bit less busy on the dunes on Saturday.

Seems like every year there are more and more EB's at SLSD. I met a guy that had a 460 big block with a 150 HP shot of NOS in an EB from Kalamazoo (it was crazy and this guy must be a genius). Couldn't stop talking to him. He was so friendly. Then on the way home I saw him stopped to help someone with a flat between Muskegon and Grand Rapids. Good peeps! Here's a pic of his engine compartment:

Great weekend! Weather was perfect and it was so cool to meet-up with some guys from CB as well as some others that we see every year that aren't on here. Enjoyed talking to @englewoodcowboy (he was really busy at Super Cel and I didn't get to talk to him then). Really nice seeing all the Duff's and Jeff from JBG and thanking them in person for helping us out with our passion.

I didn't hear a count from this year but there were a ton of EB's in attendance. This pic is just the row I was in for the group photo on the dunes pointing South (kinda) from my truck and the next pic is pointing North from my truck:

Oh...and I ordered the set of tires I've wanted for a year and a half from Duneland. Three weeks and they should be in so that's when I'm going back. Just a tad excited. ;D
